Given the times, songs of comfort and inspiration were requested. I remembered this lullaby. Godreau stays on the minor chords for the instrumental and makes use of the guitar’s bass strings. Finger picked songs are challenging for me. I am somewhat reluctant to do them for a Zoom meeting because of the inherent unkindness to any kind of subtlety and dynamic. But what the heck, I need the practice. I lost conscious track of the one beat at some point, but clocked in at the same time as the original. See the chart for link. Played using a Blackbird Farallon tenor.
