Kanile’a Vs Blackbird

Recorded at Gilroy CA Ukulele Jam Zoom meeting.
Recorded at San Francisco CA based Ukulele Rebellion Zoom jam (Bronco Billy edition)

Same song, different ukuleles. I finally got a chance to make contrasting recordings. High G Kanile’a tenor vs. low g Blackbird Farallon tenor. Sound difference was about what I expected. I discovered that Leon Rosselson wrote the song, I had thought it was Billy Bragg’s. About the diggers. Imagine Protestant proto-anarchists. But they were cool. I was reminded of their modern namesakes in late 60s San Francisco, distributing free food. I successfully used a metronome as a click track again. Here’s the chart.
