Yes, that is THE gazebo from the movie, featuring my lovely wife Lisa in front. My 1st Rogers-Hammerstein cover. Ukulele Rebellion had a Thanksgiving theme going, and this song was close enough. I also used the arrangement from one of their “official” songbooks, the Daily Ukulele. I mentioned I was doing this song during a family Zoom meeting, noting that John Coltrane covered it. Only my saxophonist nephew knew who Coltrane was.

Fun With the B7 Chord
B7 comes up four times in the above arrangement providing the opportunity to use 4 different voicings. 1st: 4320. 2nd: 2322. 3rd: 4656. 4th: 8979.

South Bay Acoustic Music
Usual 16 participants. Jay and I were outnumbered by the guitarists. Jay covered the Hawaii sovereignty song “Olomana.” Rob performed the classical pieces “Spanish Romance” and another work that had a tango beat. David led “Saints and Sinners” using a dropped D tuning. Ray performed a self-penned virus themed song to the tune of “If I.Can Dream.”. Diana sang an a-cappella “Wings of a Dove.” Suzi covered “Since I Found You.” Mariah performed an outstanding cover of “Autumn Leaves.”

Ukulele Rebellion
Mark led off with “Three Little Birds,” after that a rich selection of hymns.
Lydia led, “We Gather Together.” Kathryn led “Thanksgiving Eve.” Jeanne led, “Come Ye Thankful People Come.” Tom & Joyce led “God Bless The Human Elbow.” Pam & Mike led the Quaker hymn “Simple Gifts” that included a flute part. Jay covered “Remember Me” and “The Circle of Life” with Jeremy on melodica. Kathleen led Randy Spark’s “Today.” Mark covered “Homeward Bound.” Disney Mark led “Thanks For The Memories.” Don & Carol led, “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly.”
