Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues
This is at least my 3rd Dylan cover. Fudged the ending a bit, but close enough. I heard Craig Robertson’s cover, so I had to do it too. I featured C to G sliding. from 0232 to 0787 and the other way 0-11-10-10 to 0433. I took the song on the Zoom tour to the venues below. My best effort was at Gilroy. At Ukulele Rebellion, I could tell going in, I was fatigued. Sure enough, I lost track of the lyrics a couple times; however, I otherwise did not miss a beat and picked up the lyric thread at the appropriate points. Three Zooms a day may be a bit much. I may start limiting them to two.

Oakland Ukulele Jam
Host Bob Power provided playing tips and ably led “Across The Great Divide,” “I’ll Be Around,” “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore,” “Route 66,” “Sunny Side of the Street,” Hey Soul Sister,” and “San Francisco Bay Blues.” Kathy covered Gordon Lightfoot’s “Beautiful” and J.D. Souther’s “Faithless Love.”

Gilroy Ukulele Jam
The current theme is love songs and related stuff. Linda opened with “Three Little Birds.” Karen led “Sea of Love,” Florence led “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” Linda led “Somebody Done Someone Wrong Song.” Round Robin was “My Darling Clementine.” Linda led “Tennessee Waltz,” Karen led “I’m In The Mood for Love,” Curt led Yes’s “Onward,” Rudy led “All My Loving,” Glen led “Blue Hawaii,” Karen led the favorite” You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”

Ukulele Rebellion
It was kazoo night in anticipation of January 28 International Kazoo Day. Mark warmed up with “Three Little Birds,” Lydia led “High Hopes,” Disney Mark led “On The Sunny Side Of The Street,” Pam and Mike led “Blue Skies,” including Mike’s flute solos. Stephanie led the favorite “Tiptoe Through The Tulips,” Leela led the Beatle’s “I Should Have Known Better,” Jeanne led the ever popular “San Francisco Bay Blues.”
