This is my 3rd Merritt cover. Now that I am off Rhan’s new format newsletter’s weekly deadline, I can go back to the “song of the month.” That allows me time to add on to the song at successive weekly zoom venues. The YouTube version has the instrumental as a series of single notes. By Monterey time, I had an instrumental chord melody worked out and played correctly. My chart was recognized for its quality :).

Usual 16 suspects were in attendance, now including me. There were many self-penned songs. The song names were mumbled, not given, or I missed them. Chat requests to get them are ignored, and it’s challenging to get the request thru the inter-song hubbub. At the end of Busby Berkeley Dreams, someone said they know what their guitar would sound like if it went through a washing machine. I think they meant my Risa solid body resembled a shrunk guitar. It is modeled after the Les Paul.
