Call You In The Morning

Yet another cover by me of a Tom Rosenthal song. U.K.’s Rosenthal seems unknown in the U.S. Thanks to Jeremy of the Ukulele Rebellion for the accordion track produced via a melodica and Kevin of Foster City for the bass and drums. I decided to fingerpick, as I had not done that in a recording for a while. The song’s stretch goals were to maintain the tempo while squeezing in the sus chords. I muffed the sus chords at the Monterey Jam’s Zoom but stayed on the beat. I’ll have another chance when I play live at South Bay Acoustic Music Zoom. I think I am first out the gate with a ukulele cover. I did find a YouTube guitar tutorial. The ukulele is a Blackbird Farallon tenor, low G. The last verse is augmented with strums using a Kanilea tenor high G with a capo at the 7th fret.
