People Get Ready

Thanks to Kevin Wacknov for the sound check. I prepared this cover for “Virtual Ukulele Rebellion 85! Celebrating Musicians #3!” to memorialize Jeff Beck. I used Rod Stewart’s arrangement, where Beck played an instrumental. For the intro, outro, and interlude measures, I used the following chord voicings: D 7655, Bm7 2222, G 0-11-10-10, D 7650. The bass is me on a Taylor Mini Bass processed using GarageBand 60’s Combo. The GarageBand drums are Modern R&B, and the Old School beat preset. I removed the cymbals at the interludes. I gave the undermixed drums and bass a boost using the IMovie equalizer.
