Burn It Out

Thanks to Kevin Wacknov for the sound checks and the bass track. The drums are from the GarageBand library. I prepared the song late last year. Ukulele Rebellion’s Women In Music theme provided the opportunity to share it. I have followed Aimee Mann since her “Til Tuesday” band days. Besides the open chords, I do D at 7655, G at 7775, and A at 6454. I single-stroke the strumming here and there as a break from the down-up. I end with a D at x-9-10-9. To get some extra chime, I use the Kanilea high G ukulele. With that ukulele, I also found getting the up-the-neck chord transitions easier.
