Temptation

Thanks to Kevin Wacknov for the sound check. I set the GarageBand percussion to Deep Tech and the Furious Four beat preset to retain the original’s techno/disco beat. I had some Fun with F major 7. I lack the mutation required to play FM7 in the first position, so I used the 5500 version in the 8-measure instrumentals. I played C at 0007 (E on top) in the choruses, leading into FM7 at 5557. In the verses, I played C at 0007, G at 7775, and FM7 at 5557. I used the Risa electric ukulele with a Keely Compressor Plus pedal. The compression had the blend full, and the sustain setting was halfway. The bass track is a Taylor Mini Bass. I played the arrangement at the Monterey Ukulele Club Zoom jam. A baritone player said he had fun with the FM7.
