Melissa

Thanks to Kevin Wacknov for the sound check. This “Melissa” cover is my tribute to Dicky Betts in anticipation of the usual January Ukulele Rebellion Zoom Jam tribute to those who passed away in 2024. Betts provided the lead guitar on the original. Trying to play some of Betts’s lines crossed my mind, but I had to move on. Other songs are in the works! I used the Kanilea high G ukulele. I played the G#m x342. The Taylor Mini Bass provides the bass notes. GarageBand provides the drums. I swapped the cymbals for the high hat at the bridge.
