I have several of their albums, and this is my 1st cover. More to come. I used the high-G Kanilea with some compression and reverb coming through an alternate mix channel via the pickup. GarageBand provides the drums, and the Taylor Mini-E bass provides the bass line. The 2/4 – 4/4 shifts were a challenge. I recorded the bass line at 1/2 speed and then pasted that track at normal tempo to ensure I got it right. And, some post-processing via Logic Pro. Equalization reduced the treble and boosted the bass. Sonnex Soften plug-in smooths the high, rough edges.
