Reno Ukulele Festival day 1 impressions

Casey Macgill’s swing intro included a basic swing, shuffle then rumba in order of complexity.

To master these at this time I would have to drop something that takes up my practice time currently. For the future I think.

Daniel Ho’s simplified arrangement of Pineapple Mango would take me awhile to master the timing. I downloaded the song.

Folkies Marcy Marxer and Cathy Fink’s Jam featured a variety of pop songs. Some had 9 chords. I don’t have these memorized. A quick lookup with my chord app revealed
