I thought I’d start the year with a thoughtful and upbeat Rosenthal song. I applied another GarageBand fingerstyle bassline. No dynamics; it serves as a tonal metronome at this point. I like to stay on time; I can speed up about 15% without a click track or other timekeeper. Fewer bass notes for the single strum bridge is a technique I’ll consider for future songs. I also realize now I messed up the bass notes for the minor chords. The cost of perfectionism is exorbitant; the cost of good enough is reasonable, yadda yadda. I’ll fix the bass for future Zoom performances. Keeping accurate time helps those strumming along. Chart.
