About me – I am an East Bay native who now lives in Sacramento. I took group ukulele lessons on a cruise to Hawaii in 2011 and never looked back. I enjoy doing cover songs. My tastes have been described as eclectic, which has given me some local fame.
The blog origin story: I had been posting ukulele covers to YouTube since 2016. Some time that year, Santa Cruz, CA-based musician Rhan Wilson, who published a ukulele-oriented newsletter, asked for content from his readers. Crickets. At least three ukulele clubs in the Santa Cruz area, and not even a calendar update. Go figure. So I started sending Rhan my ukulele jam experiences, listing the songs performed, including my own. I started this website to accommodate the newsletter content, photos, and charts. Rhan stopped posting his newsletter regularly, but I kept on trucking here.
