My original cover. I played it much the same, but this time with compression, equalization, reverb, distortion, and octave pedal treatment for more of that garage-band sound. The octave effect was heard to good effect, according to some feedback at a Zoom open mic. Also, I strummed with a pick; the difference in sound surprised me. The backing track drums and bass were reworked. The vocals sound clearer in this latest version, possibly because of the Scarlett. I was using a simple USB mic converter in 2022. Post-processing with Logic Pro provided some “Sonnox Soften”, “Clean-up Guitar” equalization, and default limiting. I found out that Covault of Justine and the Unclean passed away recently. RIP Justine.
